Cash points

A cash point is anywhere in your venue that cash gets handled: a register at the bar, a server’s wallet on the terrace, or the safe in the office. Link a cash point to a payment method, and every transaction that uses that method updates the cash point automatically.

Creating a cash point

  1. Open the back office
  2. Click Cash points and tap the plus icon in the bottom right
  3. Give the cash point a name (and a location, if you want)
  4. Enter the starting balance
  5. Save with the green tick

Manual adjustments

To change a cash balance by hand, whether it’s a cash drop, a float top-up, or a correction:

  1. Go to Back office → Cash points
  2. Pick the cash point and tap the plus icon in the bottom right
  3. Enter the amount (use a minus sign to take money out)
  4. Choose the adjustment type and add a note if it’ll help later
  5. Save with the green tick

  1. Go to Back office → Payment methods
  2. Pick the payment method
