Email templates
20Tabs automatically sends a number of emails on behalf of your business: a receipt as a PDF, a sold voucher, a loyalty card with Apple/Google Wallet buttons, and reservation confirmations. Each of those four ships with a clean, ready-to-use email by default, but you can fully customize the subject and content to match your own tone.
Editing a template
- Open the Backoffice and click Email templates.
- Pick the tab for the email you want to edit at the top: Receipt PDF, Voucher, Loyalty card or Reservation.
- Switch between Dutch and English to set up both languages separately.
- Edit the subject and the body. Type
{{in the text to pick a tag, or check Available tags for the data you can insert.
On the right you’ll see a live preview of the email with sample data filled in. Leave the subject or body empty to use 20Tabs’ default text.
Save with the green tick in the bottom right. If a template is already customized and you want to go back to the default text, use Reset to default at the bottom of the page.
Available tags per email
- Receipt PDF: email address, name, address, table, amount due, total, receipt number and payment link.
- Voucher: email address, name, voucher name, balance, card number and the Apple/Google Wallet buttons.
- Loyalty card: email address, name, loyalty card name and the Apple/Google Wallet buttons.
- Reservation: guest name, date, time, party size, your business name, cancellation link and status.
