Connecting ChatGPT or Claude

The AI integration gives your own AI assistant secure access to your POS data. After connecting, you can ask ChatGPT or Claude about your revenue, products and receipts, and even have them update your menu or POS buttons. Read more about what’s possible on the AI page.

Installing through the App Store

  1. Open the backoffice and go to the App Store.
  2. Pick Claude or ChatGPT and install the integration.
  3. Follow the steps on screen and connect in one click.
  4. When asked for permission, you can tick Read-only access. Your AI can then look at your data, but not change anything in your POS.
  5. Sign in with your 20Tabs account when your AI app asks for access.

What can you ask?

Anything your POS knows the answer to. A few examples:

  • “How did revenue this weekend compare to last year?”
  • “Which dish sells worst?”
  • “Which tables are still open?”
  • “Add a new product to my menu”

Revoking access

You can remove the integration at any time through your AI app’s settings. Access to your POS data ends immediately.
