With a card system and self-service, they can run a busy bar of 200+ people on just two staff. Paying online afterwards is ideal for larger groups.

Speciaalbiercafé De Vluchte is well known in Enschede, especially with the craft beer crowd. They serve their craft beers from a walk-in fridge that guests enter themselves and with a 20Tabs kiosk get their own beers from, which means they can serve a lot of people at once. Behind the bar, a live feed shows exactly what's being scanned at the kiosk, so the team always has an eye on things.
The system De Vluchte put together is actually quite simple, but very effective. Every guest gets a card when they come in, and everything they order through the night is added to their bill via the card. Groups can even pay together by grouping their bills. That way everyone can head home on their own, without having to sort out who owes what at the bar. Afterwards a receipt is sent by email so the group can settle online. It saves the bar a lot of work, and for guests it's just easier.
"What makes the system so powerful is the combination of different parts. There are tills on both sides of the bar, so staff can take orders while they're pouring drinks. Guests can also grab their own beers from the big walk-in fridge and scan them at the 20Tabs self-service kiosk. The result? Maximum efficiency with minimal waiting."Marco, Speciaalbiercafé De Vluchte
