Reports
Backoffice > Reports is where you’ll find every number about your business: revenue, payments, VAT, sales, trends, and exceptions like refunds and compensations.
Choosing a period
Click the date range in the top left to switch. You can pick from:
- Yesterday
- Last 7 days (default)
- Last 30 days
- This month so far
- Custom range, for your own start and end date
This period applies to every tab at once. Comparisons (like the up/down arrow on Overview) are always calculated automatically against the immediately preceding period of equal length.
The tabs
| Tab | What you see |

| Overview | Revenue, payments, receipt count, and tips, compared to the previous period, plus a revenue chart by revenue category |
| Balance sheet | Revenue by category next to payments by payment method, as an accounting-style overview |
| Revenue | Revenue by category, device, or employee |
| Payments | Every payment by payment method |
| Tax report | Revenue incl. and excl. VAT, and VAT payable, per tax rate |
| Sales report | Per product: units sold, chosen options, and total revenue |
| Trends | Revenue by hour, by day of the week, or top products |
| Exceptions | Representation, removed items, compensations, refunds, and voided receipts |
| Own use | Bills booked as own use, by employee and by product |
Important: reports only cover closed days
A day only shows up in Reports once 20Tabs has automatically closed it (usually about an hour after your configured end of business day). That means today never shows up in Reports. Want live numbers for today? Use the Today card on the Backoffice home screen — that always shows the current, still-open day.
Exporting
Click the gear icon in the top right to export a report. Most reports can be exported as PDF and CSV.
